Earlier this week, Bonnye Lear, an administrator for Disney’s highly exclusive Club 33, passed away as a result of injuries sustained from an accident backstage at the theme park.

Police Investigate Deadly Backstage Traffic Collision
Today at Disneyland Resort, there is a profound sense of loss following the tragic passing of Bonnye Lear, who was 60. The sorrow runs deep among employees as they grapple with the news of her untimely death.
Bonnye Lear’s unfortunate accident occurred when she fell from a golf cart in a backstage area of the theme park, resulting in a fatal head injury. The somber event took place on Wednesday, June 5, at 11:30 am, and despite efforts to save her, Bonnye Lear succumbed to her injuries and passed away two days later, on Friday.
The entire Disneyland community is left reeling from the loss of a beloved colleague and member of the Club 33 family.
According to sources close to Disneyland Resort, police are investigating the traffic collision that resulted in Bonnye’s death. Disneyland Resort President Ken Potorock made a statement regarding this tragic death, saying:
“We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her. At this time, we are focused on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need.”
