Have you heard of D23?  It’s Disney’s versions on Comic Con in Anaheim California.  Disney announces all sorts of new initiatives including details on Disney Cruise Line, Movies, Merchandise and exciting new additions to their parks around the world.  One of the biggest bombshells to drop at D23 this year are details regarding the Star Wars hotel experience coming to Disney World in Florida.  This addition has been discussed for several years after Disney announced its’ inception at a previous D23 but the details released today have blown everyone’s notions of what to expect from a Star Wars themed hotel out-of-the-water!   Here’s what you can expect from Disney World’s exciting new “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Galactic Starcruiser Hotel… Blast Off!!!

Experience Star Wars in an entirely new way at Disney World Resort!  Disney has created a fully-immersive experience for guests in a galaxy far, far away aboard the Galactic Starcruiser Halcyon.

This exciting new adventure will be more like a Disney cruise as guests all board at the same time and are delivered by space pod to the Halcyon in "orbit."  A 2-day itinerary for overnight guests is full of alien adventure and fun where they become heroes of their own story aboard the luxury starcruiser!
