Disney Announces Food & Wine Festival Revamp Launching Soon

Disney never stops looking for ways to surprise fans; next week, EPCOT will be at the center of that strategy. In a few days, the International Food & Wine Festival will officially roll out exciting additions that fans have waited for since the festival began.

This kind of change reminds guests why this event remains one of EPCOT’s most celebrated traditions. For foodies who thought they’d already tried it all, this expansion offers a whole new reason to revisit the park.

The Heart of the Festival

Every fall, EPCOT becomes a foodie’s dream. Kiosks line the paths, serving global bites and beverages that encourage guests to explore every corner of the park. But the festival is more than food—it’s also about energy. Concerts, culinary showcases, and lively crowds transform the atmosphere into something uniquely EPCOT.

That balance between tradition and surprise is why announcing two new booths has sparked such buzz. It’s not just about adding dishes; it’s about giving the entire event a renewed sense of excitement.

Coastal Eats: Seafood Lovers’ Paradise

The first new stop, Coastal Eats, returns with a menu emphasizing rich seafood flavors. It will finally open its doors in World Discovery on September 28.

Guests can sample a Lump Crab Cake alongside slaw and rémoulade or branch out with Peruvian Ceviche, packed with shrimp, mahi mahi, and sweet potato. Another highlight is the Seaside Pot Pie, which layers scallops, shrimp, and lobster bisque beneath a puff pastry topping. Drinks include the Boyd & Blair Pomegranate Codder and a crisp Sauvignon Blanc from Rileys Lookout.

This booth blends comfort and innovation, making it worth the wait. Seafood fans will likely find themselves coming back again and again just to try everything on the menu.

Gyozas of the Galaxy: Dumplings Reimagined

Right alongside it, Gyozas of the Galaxy offers bold creativity. Forget traditional dumplings—these options are anything but ordinary.

Guests can choose Buffalo-style Dumplings with blue cheese cream, French Onion Soup-style Dumplings that taste like a hearty bowl of comfort food, or Street Corn-style Dumplings with salsa verde and cotija cheese. Each dish feels familiar yet entirely new, the imaginative touch that EPCOT festivals are known for.

The booth offers beverages like the Pineapple Colada, which blends rum, DOLE pineapple juice, and coconut milk, plus a Pinot Gris from Willamette Valley Vineyards. This creative pairing ensures that the booth will be a fan favorite as soon as it opens.

EPCOT Beyond Food & Wine

The Food & Wine Festival might be EPCOT’s headliner, but the park keeps busy year-round. Guests also look forward to the Festival of the Arts in winter, the Flower & Garden Festival in spring, and the Festival of the Holidays at the end of the year.

Each event has its flavor, making EPCOT one of Disney’s most dynamic parks and giving fans reasons to return season after season.

A Festival That Keeps Expanding

By adding Coastal Eats and Gyozas of the Galaxy, Disney shows it isn’t content to let the Food & Wine Festival coast through the season unchanged. These booths offer fans new tastes, drinks, and reasons to visit.

For longtime visitors, it’s a chance to discover something fresh. For first-timers, it’s proof that EPCOT delivers on its promise of innovation and surprises around every corner.

The International Food & Wine Festival is already a must-do, but starting September 28, it’s about to get even better—and that’s precisely how Disney likes it.
