Disney Confirms Cirque du Soleil’s “Drawn to Life” Still Coming But Tickets Are No Longer For Sale

The beautiful Cirque du Soleil’s building at Disney Springs has sat empty for way too long! Disney confirmed today (January 1) the highly anticipated new show called “Drawn to Life” is still on track to debut in 2021. We did notice however that tickets are no longer available for purchase.

  

So, here’s the history… the “La Nouba” show closed on December 31, 2017. The new show, “Drawn to Life” presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney was set to debut on April 17, 2020. Due to COVID-19, the debut was cancelled. A new debut was scheduled for November 5, 2020. That performance was delayed. A new date for the first performance was set for February 10, 2021. Tickets were on sale and prices ranged from $79 to $179.

Fast forward to today (Jan. 1, 2021), Disney has announced “Get Excited for Even More Magic Later this Year: The new Cirque du Soleil show “Drawn to Life,” coming to Disney Springs, will be a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering.”

Now both the Cirque du Soleil website and the Disney website share the show details but show no indication of a February 10th debut. The Disney website even goes on the mention: ” Tickets are currently unavailable for purchase. Please continue to check this page for updates.”

So yes, Cirque du Soleil’s “Drawn to Life” is still coming in 2021! But, when official and when will tickets go on sale? We’ll keep checking back and keep you posted as we learn more!
