Beginning at 4:00 a.m. EDT on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Disney Cruise Line will take its reservation system offline for planned maintenance. The blackout runs through 4:00 a.m. EDT on Friday, July 10 — a full 24 hours during which no bookings can be made or accessed, through either the website or the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center.

The maintenance window affects more than just new reservations. Online check-in, Cruise Activity bookings, and Port Adventure reservations will all be unavailable during the same period. Disney cast members at the Contact Center will be unable to assist with reservations or payments while the system is down, even for guests who call in directly.

Disney Cruise Line's official message reads:

“Beginning at 4:00 AM (EDT) on Thursday, July 9, 2026, through 4:00 AM (EDT) of Friday, July 10, 2026, a planned maintenance will be performed on the Disney Cruise Line reservation system. During this time, Guests will not be able to make or access a reservation online or through our Contact Center. Online Check-in, Cruise Activity and Port Adventure bookings will also be unavailable. Guests with deposits or final payments due during this period will have until Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 PM (EDT) to make their payment. We look forward to assisting you with your cruise vacation planning once our systems return on Friday, July 10, 2026.”

The Payment Deadline Extension

The most important detail for guests with financial obligations due during the maintenance window is the extended payment deadline. Anyone with a deposit or final payment falling due between 4:00 a.m. EDT on July 9 and 4:00 a.m. EDT on July 10 has until 10:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, July 11 to complete their payment — a grace period of roughly 42 hours past the original system restoration time.

Guests with the Disney Cruise Line app installed and push notifications enabled will receive a direct reminder on their device before the maintenance period begins. The purple “important information” banner is also currently visible at the top of the official Disney Cruise Line website for anyone browsing current sailings.
