Disney Dining Plan – 6 Things You Need To Know Before You Buy

6. It Doesn’t Always Save Money

As mentioned before, the regular Disney dining plan costs almost $70 per adult per night. This includes one table-service meal, one quick-service meal, and a snack.

Because many of the meals served in the Disney parks are on the larger side, and because lunches and dinners ordered using the dining plan include a dessert and a soft drink, this is actually much more food than the average person orders in one day. On top of this fact, there are many restaurants in Disney World that serve up a number of meals priced below what a person on the dining plan is charged per meal.

Therefore, unless you are an individual who eats the most expensive thing on the menu for each and every meal, the dining plan may not save you any money at all. In fact, it is likely you will spend more on the plan than you would paying out of pocket.
