You know that feeling when you’re excited for your favorite snack and it completely lets you down? That’s what a lot of Disney fans are feeling right now. A classic Disney treat recently got a makeover—not the good kind. If you thought a churro was one thing you could always count on, think again.
Sweet Treats That Still Bring the Magic
While the churro drama is real, plenty of other snacks around Disney World are still crushing it. Some of these are so creative, they deserve their own ride:
-
The Churro Milkshake at EPCOT is a sugar lover’s dream, loaded with whipped cream, a doughnut, a churro, and even a Mickey-shaped ice cream bar.
-
Over at Blizzard Beach, the S’mores Churro is as messy as it is delicious—topped with marshmallow cream, chocolate, and actual toasted marshmallows.
-
And if you’re at Animal Kingdom, don’t sleep on the Churro Family Platter. It’s an entire tray of bite-sized churros with dipping sauces and sprinkles.

Disney’s Food Scene Keeps Evolving
Disney’s not afraid to mix things up regarding its menus. Some of the park’s newest offerings show just how creative (and sometimes wildly daring) things have gotten lately:
Sunshine Seasons (EPCOT) rotates in seasonal desserts, unique snacks, and colorful bites that keep guests coming back just to see what’s new.
Casey’s Corner (Magic Kingdom) is still serving up those loaded hot dogs—and that giant cinnamon roll that somehow fits the theme, even if it’s the size of your head.
Connections Eatery (EPCOT) has leaned into trendy desserts like Baumkuchen cake, layered pastries, and other treats that seem made for Instagram.
But even with all this variety and innovation, sometimes you just want a classic done right—no surprises, no experiments—just the reliable treat you’ve always loved.

The Churro Catastrophe
That brings us to the latest curveball: Bouncin’ Mini Churros at Hollywood Studios. But instead of cinnamon sugar and a dipping sauce, these are topped with Coca-Cola and bourbon candied bacon, sriracha aïoli, and scallions.
It’s real. It’s happening. And it’s confusing a lot of people.
Guests aren’t sure if it’s a snack or a prank. Most say the combo is just too much, and others wonder who gave this the green light at Disney. While it’s cool to try new things… maybe leave the churros out of the science experiments?

Some Things Don’t Need Reinventing
In a park where magic meets innovation, some classics should stay untouched. The churro is one of them. Fans don’t need a savory spin—they just want that golden, cinnamon-dusted perfection that’s been making park days better for years. Bring back the original, Disney. We’re begging you.
