Guests at Walt Disney World continue to sell out the newest high-priced perk.

The ever-changing world of Disney’s line-skipping services continues to stir up conversation. Last year, Disney Experiences once again rebranded its FastPass replacement, ditching Disney Genie+ in favor of a more streamlined Lightning Lane system. Guests were introduced to the Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass, with the latter allowing visitors to pre-book three attractions for the day before unlocking more. Both offer the convenience of advance booking, something that has become a premium at Walt Disney World Resort.
But Disney wasn’t done. Soon after, they added a third tier: the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This all-access pass grants guests one-time Lightning Lane entry to every eligible attraction in a single park—but at a steep cost. Initially exclusive to Deluxe Resort guests, Disney quickly expanded availability to all hotel guests before eventually offering it to everyone. However, the price tag, which can soar as high as $450 per person, raised plenty of eyebrows.

When the Premier Pass debuted, many questioned whether guests would be willing to shell out such a hefty sum. After all, ticket prices and vacation costs at Walt Disney World continue to climb. Yet, despite the skepticism, the pass proved to be a massive hit over the holiday season, selling out across Thanksgiving and Christmas. Magic Kingdom, in particular, saw a 10-day consecutive sellout spanning Christmas and New Year’s—proving that when it comes to convenience, Disney fans are willing to pay.
Disney even admitted in their Q1 earnings report that the company is still “learning” how best to handle the Premier Pass. But the data speaks for itself. Demand remains high, and it’s not just holiday crowds driving sales. On a seemingly quiet January day, Magic Kingdom’s allotment of Premier Passes sold out. And now, it’s happened again.

According to reports, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass has completely sold out at Magic Kingdom on February 14 and 15—Valentine’s Day weekend. The pass was listed at $399 on February 14 and dropped slightly to $379 on February 15. While Valentine’s Day is a notable occasion, it doesn’t typically attract the massive crowds seen during Thanksgiving or Christmas, making this sellout all the more surprising.
Disney remains tight-lipped about how many Premier Passes are made available each day, but regardless of the quantity, sellouts are great optics for the company. The Premier Pass at Magic Kingdom includes one-time Lightning Lane access to the following attractions:
– The Barnstormer
– Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
– Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
– Dumbo the Flying Elephant
– Haunted Mansion
– “it’s a small world”
– Jungle Cruise
– Mad Tea Party
– The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
– The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
– Mickey’s PhilharMagic
– Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
– Peter Pan’s Flight
– Pirates of the Caribbean
– Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
– Space Mountain
– Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
– Tomorrowland Speedway
– TRON Lightcycle / Run
– Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
