Disney Makes Its Biggest Jollywood Nights Shift Since the Event Debuted

Disney fans planning to attend Jollywood Nights this holiday season will notice one immediate difference before they ever step inside Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Tickets cost more.

While Disney didn't raise prices across the board, the company did increase the minimum admission price for its after-hours holiday event. It's a relatively modest adjustment, but one that continues the broader trend of rising costs for special-ticket experiences across Walt Disney World.

Last year, the least expensive Jollywood Nights ticket cost $159. For 2026, that starting price has increased to $169.

Interestingly, the highest ticket price hasn't changed.

The most expensive event nights still top out at $199, exactly where they were last season. Rather than increasing the ceiling, Disney chose to raise the lowest-priced dates instead.

That approach means nearly every guest will spend at least a little more this year, even if they're intentionally selecting one of the cheaper nights.

For families, that difference can add up quickly.

A family of four purchasing tickets now pays at least $40 more than they would have for the lowest-priced event last year before factoring in taxes, food, merchandise, or transportation costs.

Still, not every date carries the same value.

Disney continues using demand-based pricing, with early November offering the lowest admission costs. Guests willing to visit before Thanksgiving can save compared to those attending during the busiest weeks of December.

That pricing strategy has become increasingly common across Walt Disney World.

Whether it's daily park tickets, Lightning Lane purchases, resort rates, or special events, Disney often rewards guests who travel during less crowded periods while charging premium prices during peak demand.

Jollywood Nights follows that same pattern.

Guests who don't have fixed vacation dates may find that moving their trip by just a week or two results in noticeable savings.

Despite the higher entry price, Disney has left several discounts unchanged.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members continue receiving $10 off admission, while children ages 3 through 9 also receive a $10 discount on every event night.

Those savings won't completely offset the higher ticket prices, but they do help reduce the impact for eligible families.

The bigger question is whether guests still view Jollywood Nights as a worthwhile purchase.

The event offers significantly lower attraction waits than a typical park day, exclusive entertainment, specialty food and drinks, holiday-themed character appearances, and unique entertainment found nowhere else during the Christmas season.

For many visitors, that combination continues to justify the additional expense.

Others may compare the growing ticket prices with a regular day inside Disney's Hollywood Studios and decide the difference is becoming harder to overlook.

Ultimately, Disney appears confident demand will remain strong.

Keeping the maximum price unchanged while increasing the minimum suggests the company believes guests are still willing to pay a little more for one of Walt Disney World's signature holiday experiences.

With limited attendance and several dates expected to sell out before the holidays arrive, Disney will soon find out whether that strategy pays off once again
