Disney fans love limited-edition merchandise, especially when it celebrates one of Magic Kingdom's most legendary attractions. This Halloween season, however, getting your hands on Disney's newest Haunted Mansion collectible won't be as simple as flashing an Annual Pass.
Disney has introduced a Haunted Mansion-themed shirt created exclusively for Annual Passholders attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. While that sounds like a nice membership perk, there's one important condition attached to it.
Passholders have to buy a Halloween party ticket first.

Haunted Mansion Merchandise Arrives for Halloween
The newest design puts the Haunted Mansion's Hitchhiking Ghosts front and center in a festive Halloween layout.
The artwork combines the attraction's famous spirits with “Boo to You” lettering, pumpkins, bats, and other seasonal touches that make it feel right at home during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Disney is also releasing a coordinating collectible pin for Annual Passholders.

For fans who collect Haunted Mansion merchandise year after year, it's likely to become one of the season's most popular releases.
Annual Pass Alone Isn't Enough
The merchandise may be labeled as an Annual Passholder exclusive, but not every Passholder will be able to buy it.
Disney is limiting sales to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights at the Emporium inside Magic Kingdom.
That means guests must first purchase admission to the separately ticketed event before they can even enter the park during party hours. Once inside, they'll also need to present their Annual Pass and a valid government-issued photo ID to complete the purchase.
It's an unusual restriction that effectively creates two groups of Passholders: those attending the party and those staying home.
Another Premium Disney Perk
Special event merchandise has become a familiar part of Walt Disney World's seasonal celebrations.
Halloween parties already offer entertainment, exclusive snacks, attraction overlays, rare characters, and collectible souvenirs unavailable during normal park hours.
This year's Haunted Mansion apparel goes one step further by targeting Disney's most dedicated fans while also encouraging them to purchase another premium-ticket event.
For some collectors, that added cost will simply be part of the experience. Others may question whether an Annual Pass should provide broader access to merchandise marketed specifically to Passholders.

Haunted Mansion Refurbishment Nearly Finished
The timing also comes as Haunted Mansion itself receives a refreshed look ahead of the busy fall season.
Disney has removed the construction scrims and scaffolding that covered much of the attraction's exterior over the past several months. Guests can once again see the mansion's full facade, which has been repainted with refreshed details that closely resemble its original appearance.
Around the attraction, new landscaping has transformed the surrounding hillside with fresh greenery, new shrubs, and young trees.
Although work is wrapping up, Haunted Mansion has remained open throughout the project, allowing guests to continue enjoying one of Magic Kingdom's signature attractions while Disney completed the exterior improvements.
