A familiar name in the Disney Springs dining scene is about to disappear.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, one of the restaurants that helped shape the modern Disney Springs dining lineup, will permanently close its doors on September 13, 2026. The Town Center restaurant has welcomed Walt Disney World visitors since 2018, giving guests another option for a sit-down meal outside the theme parks.
For some Disney World visitors, that may sound like a relatively small change.
It isn't necessarily one.
Disney Springs has become an important part of the Walt Disney World experience, particularly for travelers who want somewhere to eat or spend an evening without using a theme park ticket. A restaurant closure can therefore affect everything from dinner reservations to where families choose to spend their final night of vacation.
The closure also arrives during a period of considerable change throughout Disney Springs, where several familiar retailers and food options have disappeared over the past year.
And for now, there is no replacement waiting in the wings.
The Last Call for Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill
Located in Town Center across from Planet Hollywood, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill opened in November 2018.
Disney announced the restaurant more than a year earlier, in May 2017, as part of the continuing transformation of Disney Springs.
The approximately 250-seat restaurant was designed around a casual California-inspired atmosphere, incorporating farmhouse-style details while offering a menu influenced by Mediterranean cuisine and modern comfort food.
It quickly became one of the area's more recognizable table-service options.
Unlike some of the more elaborate dining experiences around Walt Disney World, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill offered guests the opportunity to sit down for a substantial meal without making the restaurant itself the centerpiece of the entire evening.
That made its location especially convenient.
A family could spend an afternoon shopping at Disney Springs, stop for dinner, and continue exploring the district afterward.
That option will soon be gone.
What You Can Still Order Before September 13
The restaurant isn't closing immediately, meaning hungry Disney Springs visitors still have time to make one final visit.
The current menu includes appetizers such as Zeppole Cinnamon Sugar for $14, Bruschetta with Stracciatella Cheese for $17, Crab Cakes for $23, and Crispy Chicken Wings with Sweet & Spicy Chili Soy Glaze for $18.
There are also Truffled Potato Chips with Point Reyes Blue Cheese Sauce for $17, along with salads including the Strawberry & Feta Salad for $20, Chinois Chicken Salad for $21, and Caesar Salad for $18.
Pizza is another major part of the menu.
Guests can choose from Margherita for $19, Sausage for $22, Pepperoni for $21, Mushroom for $21, or Smoked Salmon for $34.
The pasta lineup includes Four Cheese Ravioli for $31, Rigatoni Bolognese for $32, and Mac & Cheese with Roasted Pork Belly for $21.
For something more substantial, the restaurant serves Viennese Chicken Schnitzel for $28 and the Puck Burger for $25.
Brunch includes Steak and Eggs for $49, Old School Breakfast for $27, French Toast for $23, and Huevos Rancheros for $24.
Guests looking for a drink can also choose from cocktails including the $19 Coconut Berry Refresher and $19 Isla Rosa Mule.
Anyone hoping to have one final meal at the restaurant should keep September 13 in mind.
After that, another restaurant will eventually occupy the space, but Disney has not revealed what that restaurant will be.
The Disney Springs Turnover Has Been Hard to Miss
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is entering its final weeks at a time when Disney Springs has already seen a number of departures.
Sprinkles Cupcakes closed permanently at the beginning of 2026. The location was once particularly recognizable because of its Cupcake ATM, which allowed guests to purchase cupcakes outside regular store hours.
Francesca's was another Town Center departure. The retailer closed its Disney Springs location on March 29 after its parent company entered bankruptcy proceedings and moved toward shutting down stores.
Shore also left Disney Springs, with its location closing on May 1. Unlike some of the other vacancies, that space has already been connected to a future tenant, with athletic apparel company Vuori expected to move into the location.
Johnston & Murphy then closed its Disney Springs location on May 7.
The closures have not been limited to stores.
Several food trucks that operated in the Exposition Park area also left Disney Springs permanently in June. The food trucks had offered guests an inexpensive and convenient way to grab something to eat while exploring the West Side.
Taken individually, these departures may not seem particularly significant.
Taken together, they paint a picture of a district that is changing quickly.
The Restaurant Shuffle Isn't Over
Disney Springs has never been a static destination.
The district has gone through multiple transformations, first as Downtown Disney and later as Disney Springs. Restaurants and retailers have come and gone throughout that process.
That makes the Wolfgang Puck closure less of an isolated event and more of another example of how quickly the district's lineup can evolve.
It is also important to remember that Disney Springs includes a large number of businesses that are operated independently of Disney.
When an outside company changes its business strategy, files for bankruptcy, or decides not to renew its lease, Disney Springs can lose a familiar name even while the overall destination continues growing.
And Disney is still adding experiences to the district.
New entertainment and dining concepts continue to arrive, keeping Disney Springs positioned as a major destination for visitors who want something to do beyond the theme parks.
The result is a strange combination of familiarity and constant change.
A Vacation Tradition May Need a New Restaurant
For travelers planning a Walt Disney World vacation, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill's closure probably won't derail an entire trip.
There are simply too many other dining options available at Disney Springs.
However, it could disrupt plans for guests who have been returning to the restaurant for years.
That's one of the less obvious effects of restaurant closures at Disney World.
A vacation is rarely just about the attractions.
Families remember where they ate after riding Space Mountain. Couples remember the restaurant where they celebrated an anniversary. Parents remember taking their children somewhere special after a day at EPCOT.
Those restaurants can become part of the trip itself.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill has now reached the end of that run.
Guests visiting before September 13 can still experience it, while anyone traveling afterward will have to find another favorite.
The Door Closes, But Disney Springs Keeps Moving
Disney has not announced what will take over the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill location.
That leaves plenty of room for speculation, particularly because the restaurant occupies a prominent location in Town Center.
Whatever eventually moves in will become part of a very different Disney Springs than the one that existed when Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill opened in 2018.
The district has changed dramatically since then.
Some stores are gone. Some restaurants have disappeared. New concepts have arrived, and more are expected.
That is ultimately the nature of Disney Springs.
It is a place built around discovery, and sometimes that means discovering that a restaurant you remember from your last vacation is no longer there.
For now, though, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill still has a few weeks left.
