This momentum intensified following serious allegations of sexual harassment against a manager at Pizza Ponte, a popular dining spot within the complex. Several employees reported ongoing misconduct by the manager, claiming that no action was taken despite repeated complaints. Notably, one worker involved in union organizing was allegedly dismissed over a minor dress code violation—wearing a single earbud on the job. Such incidents underscore the growing frustration among third-party restaurant workers, who are seeking stronger protections and workplace rights.
