Three more Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates have sold out at Walt Disney World Resort, leaving guests with just 15 remaining chances to buy their way into Magic Kingdom’s separately ticketed Halloween event in 2026. The newly unavailable nights are September 13, September 15, and October 22, according to Disney’s ticket availability as of August 27.
That shrinking calendar matters because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs only on select nights through October 31. Once a party reaches capacity, guests who have not already purchased an event ticket cannot simply add the party to their evening plans. With 23 of the season’s 38 scheduled parties now gone or sold out, flexibility is disappearing quickly.
Only 15 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates Remain
Disney originally scheduled 38 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights between August 7 and October 31, 2026. The latest sellouts reduce the remaining inventory to 15 event dates across the final days of August, September, and October.
As of August 27, tickets remain available for August 30; September 1, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, and 29; and October 1, 2, 4, 18, 23, 25, and 27. Availability can change at any time, so guests considering one of those nights should check Disney’s official ticket page before making plans.
The pace has accelerated throughout August. Earlier this month, Inside the Magic reported that 11 party nights had sold out. Additional dates then disappeared in waves, including August 23, August 25, August 28, September 18, October 8, October 15, and October 16 before this latest round.
Magic Kingdom Access Changes on Party Nights
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is not included with standard daytime admission. Disney says the event runs from 7 p.m. until midnight, although party ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m. without purchasing a separate daytime park ticket.
For regular Magic Kingdom visitors, party nights also reshape the park day. Magic Kingdom closes early to day guests on event evenings, creating a long stretch of altered operating days during Disney World’s Halloween season. That distinction is important: a sold-out Halloween party does not mean Magic Kingdom is necessarily unavailable for regular daytime admission that date. What Guests Get With a Halloween Party Ticket
The limited inventory is attached to an event that offers experiences not available during an ordinary Magic Kingdom night. Disney’s 2026 lineup includes Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, trick-or-treating, character appearances, specialty food, merchandise, and seasonal attraction experiences.
Disney also introduced changes for the 2026 party season. September and October Options Are Narrowing
September still offers the largest number of remaining parties, with seven dates available as of August 27. But the loss of September 13 and September 15 shows that the month’s inventory is no longer as open as it was earlier in the sales cycle.
October is tighter in a different way. Seven October dates remain, but Halloween night is already sold out, along with several other dates throughout the month. Guests hoping to attend closer to October 31 are therefore working with a smaller selection than the original calendar suggested.
Pricing also varies by event date. Disney currently lists Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets across the season from $119 to $229 plus tax, although the lowest-priced dates have already passed or sold out. Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club members receive a $10 discount on qualifying nights through October 2.
Disney’s Party Season Continues Beyond Halloween
The narrowing Halloween calendar is also part of a broader seasonal shift at Magic Kingdom. After Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ends on October 31, Disney will begin Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights from November 8 through December 22, continuing the pattern of separately ticketed evening events and early closures for regular park guests.
