Disney World Hotel Alert: 35% Discount Confirmed for Passholders in 2027

Annual Passholders planning a Walt Disney World trip in 2027 may want to revisit their hotel budget.

Disney vacations aren't getting any cheaper. Park admission, meals, transportation, and resort stays can quickly push the total higher, particularly for families spending several days on the property. But Disney has now given Passholders a way to reduce one major expense.

A new hotel promotion offers Annual Passholders savings of up to 35% on select rooms during the first four months of 2027.

Exactly how much guests can save depends on two major factors: where they stay and when they visit. And for Passholders chasing the biggest discount, one particular stretch of dates stands above the rest.

Timing Makes a Big Difference

The Annual Passholder promotion covers eligible stays from January 3 through April 29, 2027, but Disney doesn't offer the same savings throughout that entire period.

For most Sunday through Thursday nights from January 3 through February 25, discounts range from 20% to 30%.

The better opportunity begins February 28. From then through April 29, most nights qualify for savings ranging from 25% to 35%, depending on the resort.

Disney requires a minimum stay of one night and allows a maximum of 14 nights under the offer.

Passholders should also watch for additional charges. Disney may add per-adult fees when more than two adults share a room at Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Resorts, as well as Studios at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts.

Several accommodations don't qualify, including 3-Bedroom Villas and Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Disney also excludes Bungalows, Tower 1-Bedroom Villas, 2-Bedroom Villas, and Penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

From there, Disney separates the participating hotels into three major discount groups.

Several Popular Resorts Reach 25% Off

The first group offers up to 25% off most nights between February 28 and April 29. For most Sunday through Thursday stays from January 3 through February 25, Passholders can save up to 20%.

The eligible accommodations include:

  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Standard Rooms
  • Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
  • Disney’s Pop Century Resort
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – Standard Location Rooms
  • Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
  • The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, excluding January and February dates
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
  • Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

While these hotels don't qualify for the promotion's maximum savings, taking 20% to 25% off a multi-night stay could still considerably lower the overall vacation cost.

Passholders looking elsewhere can push that maximum higher.

The Next Tier Brings Bigger Savings

Another group of Walt Disney World hotels qualifies for discounts of up to 30% for most nights from February 28 through April 29.

Earlier in the year, Passholders could save up to 25% for most Sunday through Thursday nights between January 3 and February 25.

Those accommodations include:

  • Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Family Suites
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
  • Disney’s Old Key West Resort – Deluxe Studios
  • Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Resort View Rooms

The extra savings become even more important as room prices climb, making it worth comparing several resorts before booking.

And Passholders willing to explore another group can reach the promotion's full 35% maximum.

Passholders May Want to Compare Dates

The biggest takeaway for Passholders is that flexibility could pay off.

Those visiting from February 28 through April 29 have access to the strongest discounts, but earlier weekday trips can still receive substantial savings.

For Passholders already considering a 2027 vacation, comparing different resorts and dates could make a meaningful difference. With discounts reaching 35%, Disney has given eligible Passholders a chance to cut one of the biggest expenses attached to a Walt Disney World trip.
