6. The Jacuzzi is Not Your Friend
After my first ever Princess Half Marathon I was stoked to get back to the hotel and hop in the Jacuzzi to soothe my muscles. You readers are likely smarter than I was and will know not to enjoy the Jacuzzi post-race. I quickly learned that hot water and jets were not the correct pairing for the inflammation and soreness of a half marathon runner. Lesson learned, cooling off in the pool or relaxing anywhere aside from the Jacuzzi is the best idea for runners.
