Exciting changes are in store for theme park fans in 2025 as Walt Disney World Resort continues to offer magical experiences, including the ever-popular Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park. This special-ticket event, running select nights from January 6 through May 19, 2025, gives guests a chance to enjoy a limited-capacity evening filled with attractions, complimentary snacks, and the enchantment of Cinderella Castle after dark.

Those looking to attend have a range of dates to choose from, though demand remains high. The March 31 event sold out, and now, April 7 has officially reached capacity as well, according to reports. Tickets range from $175 to $185 per person (plus tax), and guests can enter as early as 7 p.m., well before the event officially begins at 10 p.m.
Once inside, visitors can take advantage of shorter wait times for fan-favorite attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run, which features a standby queue during these special evenings. The night also offers the perfect chance to watch the spectacular Happily Ever After fireworks and the Disney Enchantment show, which is no longer available outside of the After Hours events.

While Disney After Hours continues to be a guest favorite, Walt Disney World has made some operational changes in 2025. Notably, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been removed from the After Hours lineup, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently undergoing an indefinite refurbishment.
Beyond these events, Disney has been focusing on enhancing the overall guest experience through new marketing campaigns celebrating the wonder of Walt Disney “Worlds.” The resort has also revived fan-favorite promotions, ensuring visitors continue to feel the magic at every turn. Meanwhile, high-demand add-ons like the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass—priced up to $449 for peak Magic Kingdom days—regularly sell out, signaling guests’ continued interest in premium experiences.

Addressing questions about affordability, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro recently emphasized the company’s efforts to provide options for every guest. “The number-one thing we hear from the millions of guests who visit our parks each year is how much a Disney vacation means to them, and we intentionally offer a wide variety of ticket, hotel, and dining options to welcome as many families as possible, whatever their budget,” D’Amaro stated in a Disney press release. “We also know that, in inflationary times, it’s especially important to give families ways to save on their visits.”
Echoing that perspective, Walt Disney Company Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger pointed to “very high” guest satisfaction scores as proof that visitors continue to cherish their time at the resort.
