Slinky Dog Dash never opened on August 31. It then remained unavailable during the morning of September 1, creating an extended shutdown that guests planning their Hollywood Studios day will want to watch closely.
The closure is particularly noticeable because of the coaster's popularity.
Slinky Dog Dash anchors Toy Story Land alongside Toy Story Mania! and Alien Swirling Saucers. The coaster has been a major draw since the land opened in 2018 and can generate substantial waits during busy portions of the day.
