Disneyland Cut Ticket Prices This Summer and the Deal Is Almost Too Good

Disneyland ticket prices have been climbing for years, and every parent who has looked at the cost of a family trip to Anaheim in the last few years already knows that the math does not always work in a family's favor. The total cost of getting four people through the gates of both parks for a day or two has become one of those numbers that requires a serious conversation rather than a casual decision.

Disney just made that conversation easier for families with young children.

A new limited-time summer ticket offer launched on May 22, giving children ages 3 to 9 Park Hopper access to Disneyland Resort starting at $50 per child. That price covers both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure on the same day with the Park Hopper access already included rather than tacked on as a separate fee. The deal runs through September 7, 2026, covering every week of the summer season from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Disneyland Pricing

Three options are available depending on how many days a family wants to visit. The one day Park Hopper is $50 per child. The two day Park Hopper is $100 per child and is valid for thirteen days after first use or until September 7 whichever comes first. The three day Park Hopper is $150 per child with the same thirteen day window.

Those prices include Park Hopper. Not as an upgrade. Not as an add-on. Built into the promotional price from the start. For families who have watched Park Hopper access push Disneyland ticket costs higher over the past several years, that distinction is worth noting.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be added to any of these ticket options at the time of purchase for an additional fee. It is optional rather than required, which means families can choose whether the standby line strategy or the Lightning Lane strategy makes more sense for their specific visit.

The Detail That Could Catch People Off Guard

Park reservations are required in addition to these tickets. That is standard Disneyland operating policy and not specific to this promotion. What is specific to this promotion is the language Disney used around reservation availability. Theme park reservations for the Kids Summer Ticket Offer are specifically noted as limited and subject to availability.

That language matters more than it might seem at first glance. It means the reservation allotment tied to this promotional ticket is not the same as the general park reservation pool. Families who purchase tickets without first confirming that reservations are available for their target dates could find themselves with paid tickets and no way to use them on the days they planned to visit.

The right approach is to check reservation availability for specific target dates before completing the ticket purchase. Five minutes of confirmation before buying saves the kind of frustration that is very difficult to resolve after the fact.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by someone 14 or older to enter the parks. Children under 7 must be accompanied by someone 14 or older to board any attraction.

What the Summer Disneyland Lineup Actually Looks Like

The promotional pricing covers a summer season at Disneyland Resort, which offers genuine attractions to visit. Tiana's Bayou Adventure is running and has been generating strong guest reactions since its opening. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance continues to deliver one of the most technically ambitious attraction experiences in the Disney Parks system.

Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure brings Marvel characters and attractions together in a way that works particularly well for the age group this ticket is built for. Radiator Springs Racers remains one of the most beautifully designed rides at the resort. Classic attractions and nighttime spectaculars are part of every visit.

For children in the three-to-nine age range, exactly who this promotion is designed for, the Disneyland Resort summer lineup has enough breadth to fill multiple days without running out of things to do.

The Numbers One More Time

One-day Park Hopper for children ages 3 to 9 is $50. Two days is $100. Three days is $150. Park Hopper is included. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is optional. The deal runs through September 7. Park reservations are required and limited, so check availability before purchasing.

The deal is live right now. The summer is long. The reservation availability is not unlimited.

Book accordingly.
