A Disneyland trip with a Bluey fan can come with one very important request: seeing Bluey and Bingo.
Starting next weekend, families will have another opportunity to make that happen.
Disneyland is preparing to expand the operating schedule for Bluey’s Best Day Ever! at Fantasyland Theatre. The experience currently runs only three days each week, but that will begin changing on September 28.
A second adjustment follows on October 1, eventually bringing the show to five days per week.
If you're visiting Disneyland Park around the end of September or beginning of October, you'll want to know which schedule applies to your trip.
Bluey Currently Runs Three Days a Week
Through September 27, Disneyland has Bluey’s Best Day Ever! scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Performances take place three times each day at 11 a.m., 12:20 p.m., and 1:40 p.m.
That's a fairly narrow window for families trying to fit Bluey into an already busy Disneyland itinerary.
Someone visiting earlier in the week could easily assume the experience is available, only to discover there aren't any performances that day.
Thankfully, the schedule is expanding.
Monday Shows Begin Next Weekend
The first adjustment takes effect Monday, September 28.
Beginning that day, Disneyland will add Monday performances to the calendar.
Nothing changes about the actual showtimes. Guests will still have the 11 a.m., 12:20 p.m., and 1:40 p.m. options.
That gives families spending a long weekend at Disneyland an additional chance to catch the experience.
For example, a family arriving Saturday and leaving Monday won't necessarily need to squeeze Bluey into an already crowded weekend schedule. They could potentially save the show for Monday instead.
And Disneyland isn't stopping there.
Thursday Joins the Schedule Days Later
Beginning October 1, Thursday performances will also be added.
At that point, Bluey’s Best Day Ever! will operate Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Tuesday and Wednesday won't have scheduled shows under the new calendar.
That means the experience is expanding from three operating days per week to five while maintaining the same three daily showtimes.
The Disneyland calendar currently shows the schedule through October 31.
As always, entertainment schedules can change. Families should check the Disneyland app on the day of their visit before building their entire morning around a particular performance.
You’ll Need To See Bluey Before 2 P.M.
Even with more operating days, guests still need to pay attention to the clock.
Bluey’s Best Day Ever! doesn't currently have afternoon or evening performances beyond the 1:40 p.m. show.
That makes it an experience families should prioritize during the first half of their Disneyland day.
If you spend the morning riding attractions, stop for lunch, and don't think about Bluey until mid-afternoon, you could discover that every performance has already ended.
The 11 a.m. show gives guests time to enjoy some attractions earlier in the morning. Families who don't make that performance still have options at 12:20 p.m. and 1:40 p.m.
After that, however, there isn't another scheduled performance.
Bluey and Bingo Take Over Fantasyland Theatre
Bluey’s Best Day Ever! gives kids more than an opportunity to simply spot the characters.
Bluey and Bingo appear live onstage with musicians and comedic performers. The experience combines music with interactive games inspired by the popular series, allowing children to become part of the fun.
That interactive format can make the experience particularly appealing for younger Disneyland visitors.
It also explains why families may want to plan for the show instead of treating it as something they'll stumble across whenever they happen to reach Fantasyland.
Check Your Disneyland Dates Before You Go
For upcoming visitors, the key is knowing when the new schedule begins.
Through September 27, performances remain limited to Friday through Sunday.
Monday joins the schedule September 28.
Thursday joins on October 1.
After that, the experience is scheduled Thursday through Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday remaining without performances.
So, if Bluey is one of the biggest reasons your kids are excited about Disneyland, check those dates before your trip.
More opportunities are coming next weekend, but you'll still need to visit on the right day — and get to Fantasyland Theatre before the final 1:40 p.m. performance.
