Wardrobe Malfunction Stops Disney Parade for the Second Time in Days

Disneyland Resort’s Paint the Night parade experienced another unexpected wardrobe malfunction last week, interrupting the show for the second time in just a few days. This time, the disruption occurred when a Disney Park guest ran into the parade route to return a costume piece that had fallen off.

On May 18, Instagram user @itsdarthavengers shared a video of the scene. Donald Duck, positioned on his float, had dropped his wand during the parade, and a nearby guest decided to help by rushing into the street to return the fallen item. As the guest approached, a Disney cast member rushed to stop her from entering the moving parade and took the wand back to Donald.

However, another Disneyland Park guest speculated that Donald Duck’s frustration might have been directed at the cast member who stopped the guest from returning the item. @peruvian_bliss commented: “Actually, I was on the other side when Donald dropped his paintbrush… The guest was the first to grab it to return it to him, but a cast member intercepted it and went around to give it back. Donald’s reaction was directed at the cast member. You can see the guest already walking away, and after that, Donald gets upset at the cast member.”

Still, the Disney cast member’s intervention was necessary for the safety of the guest and parade performers.

This incident came just days after another viral moment during the same parade, where Tinker Bell also dropped her wand in front of Disney Park guests. Despite the disruptions, the parade resumed without further issues after both incidents.
