Complete refurbishment of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris is officially underway! As previously shared, Disneyland Paris revealed starting in January 2021 the Castle would undergo a complete (and we mean complete!) refurbishment. The construction has begun!
As shared via the DLP Report Twitter: “Let’s get right to it: scaffolding has started to arrive on both sides of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The refurbishment is expected to last until the fall.”

In our opinion, the current Sleeping Beauty Castle is stunning, but we’re sure Disney will work their magic to make it even more magnificent. This Castle isn’t the only Disney Castle getting a makeover. Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle’s “royal makeover” is officially complete. Hong Kong Disneyland has also unveiled transformation plans for their Sleeping Beauty Castle into “Castle of Magical Dreams”.
