Over time that changed. Ratatouille: The Adventure became one of the most beloved dark rides in any Disney park globally. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror landed at the resort with a format unique to Paris, running three separate storylines that no other version of the attraction uses. Then in 2022, Avengers Campus opened and transformed the park's identity again, adding Flight Force and a Marvel-anchored land that has been one of the best-received additions to any Disney park in Europe.
By the time Walt Disney Studios Park reaches its final day under that name, it has become a genuinely strong park. Which makes the retirement of the name feel meaningful in a way that early-era closures of struggling parks often do not. This is not Disney abandoning something that was not working. This is Disney transforming something that was working into something much larger.
What Disney Adventure World Opens With on March 29
The marquee addition is World of Frozen. This is an immersive Frozen land built at a scale that has no equivalent in the current Disney parks lineup. Frozen Ever After is the anchor attraction, taking guests on a journey through Arendelle. The royal castle within the land hosts Anna and Elsa character meets. A daytime show set on Viking longships plays within the land. For families with Frozen fans, this is the version of Arendelle they have been waiting for, and it is exclusive to Disneyland Paris.
Adventure Way opens alongside it as the new central promenade running through the park. It is not just a walkway — it is a destination. Fourteen new dining locations debut along Adventure Way at opening, including the Regal View Restaurant and Lounge, which on its own would be notable. The promenade also features themed gardens, seasonal entertainment programming, and Raiponce Tangled Spin, a new family-friendly attraction themed to Tangled. And to close out the day, a new nighttime spectacular called “Disney Cascade of Lights” makes its debut, exclusive to Disney Adventure World.

What Was Already There and Is Not Going Anywhere

Cars ROAD TRIP, which does not exist anywhere else, takes guests through Route 66 with characters from Cars as guides. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror's three-storyline format is unique to this resort. These are not watered-down international versions of American rides. Several of them are better than their American counterparts.
Mickey and the Magician and TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure continue playing inside the park with the quality of stage production that Disneyland Paris is known for. The “Disney Tales of Magic” nighttime spectacular across the plaza at Disneyland Park, projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle, adds another exclusive entertainment experience for guests doing a full resort day.
What Is Coming Next at Disney Adventure World
March 29 is the beginning, not the finished product. A major Lion King-themed attraction is already in construction on Adventure Bay, a new land coming to Disney Adventure World. The attraction will use water-based ride elements and next-generation Audio-Animatronics with songs from the 1994 film. An Up-themed experience is also in development. Disney Adventure World in 2026 is a park in its opening chapter, which means 2026 visitors get World of Frozen at its freshest while knowing there is more still coming around it.
