As we previously shared, Walt Disney World is testing a new “Merchandise Mobile Checkout” at Epcot’s Mouse Gear. This new feature on the My Disney Experience App would allow Disney shoppers to skip the wait to check out, but rather do it easily right from our phones. We’re happy to see that Disney has now extended the Mobile Checkout option to Disney’s Pop Century Resort!
As you’ll see in the screen shot below, Everything POP Shopping & Dining has joined the list!

When you hit the plus button at the bottom of the My Disney Experience App landing page, you’ll see the new feature “Shop In Store – Now Testing” option. Once you press the “Shop in Store – Now Testing” option the following notification pops up: “Merchandise Mobile Checkout: Now Testing! At select stores, you can now scan items and check out using your mobile app! Here’s how it works:”
- – Grab a designated mobile checkout shopping bag.
- – Scan items as you add them to your bag.
- – Tap “check out” when finished shopping to pay on your phone.
- – Show your QR code to a Cast Member as you exit. You’re all set!
