Summer is winding down at Walt Disney World, and that means some guests are starting to look beyond the next few weeks when planning their EPCOT visits.
For anyone hoping to experience Soarin' Across America, that creates an interesting problem.
Disney has made it clear that the new version of Soarin' isn't permanent. What the company hasn't told guests is exactly when it will disappear.

Disney Introduced a New Soarin' Experience
Soarin' Across America officially debuted at EPCOT on May 26, 2026, replacing Soarin' Around the World for a limited-time run.
Disney California Adventure followed on July 2.
The new film takes the familiar Soarin' ride system and sends guests across locations in the United States. Disney introduced the experience as part of the celebration surrounding America's 250th anniversary.
That also came with an important distinction from the beginning: Disney promoted Soarin' Across America as a limited-time experience.
In other words, it has an expiration date. We just don't know what that date is.
There's Still No Closing Date
As of August 11, Disney has not announced a final operating date for Soarin' Across America at EPCOT or Disney California Adventure.
The attraction remains open-ended on Disney's schedule, meaning guests visiting in the immediate future don't currently have a published deadline to worry about.
Things become less certain for vacations farther down the road.
There has been discussion that Disney could keep the film running into 2027, particularly considering the investment required to create an entirely new Soarin' experience.
That timeline, however, remains unconfirmed.
Disney could keep Soarin' Across America around well into next year, or it could announce an earlier closing date. Until the company provides more information, guests shouldn't treat any projected timeline as official.

What Comes After Soarin' Across America?
Disney also hasn't revealed what will replace the film once its limited run ends.
The easiest possibility would seemingly be another return of Soarin' Around the World.
Disney has shown a willingness to rotate Soarin' films before. EPCOT temporarily brought back the original Soarin' Over California in 2023, while Disney California Adventure has revived that version multiple times.
That makes it possible that Soarin' Across America could eventually join Disney's rotation of available films rather than disappear permanently.
For now, though, guests only know one thing for certain.
Soarin' Across America isn't meant to stay forever.
If experiencing it is important to your next Disney World trip, don't assume it'll still be flying when you return to EPCOT.
