Don’t Miss the ‘Encanto’-Inspired Garden at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

This year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is underway now through July 4, 2022, and the event is packed with character topiaries, outdoor kitchens, live music, and a number of new gardens dreamed up just for this year’s event. One of the new gardens at this year’s festival is sure to be a fan favorite if it is anything like the film that inspired it, Encanto (2021).

The Disney Parks Blog just shared an update on this garden inspired by the magical Madrigal family, with small details throughout this outdoor space taking notes from the characters in the film, particularly the strong women of the family. In addition to finding tropical plants inspired by Julieta, Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel, there is a path Guests can stroll down that takes its design cues from the youngest member of the family, Antonio.

The Encanto-inspired garden opened at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival last week and will be available to visit through May 22, 2022. To find the garden, head between the Morocco pavilion and France pavilion while making your way around World Showcase. There you will find La Isla Fresca outdoor kitchen, which serves a variety of arepas inspired by the film, and is located right next to the entrance to this magical garden.

Encanto can also be spotted with a number of treats inspired by the film this month as the Walt Disney World celebrates HERstory, for Women’s History Month, at both Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

The Encanto garden is just one of the newest additions to the theme park during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, with multiple new gardens and character topiaries making their debuts each year. While the Encanto garden is open through May 22, the entire festival runs through July 4, 2022. And if you haven’t seen this Walt Disney Animation Studios hit yet (or if you can’t stop watching it) the movie is available to stream on Disney+.
