A two-hour closure of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is typically the kind of news that leaves Walt Disney World Resort guests frustrated. But rather than let the wait drag on in silence, several EPCOT cast members found a way to make the moment memorable for families stuck waiting for the Marvel Studios-inspired coaster to reopen.
Instagram user @_juan_macias_03 captured the moment on video, shared it online, and noted they had submitted “Cast Compliments” to recognize the employees featured in the clip.

The footage shows multiple Disney cast members leading guests in an impromptu performance of the “Cha Cha Slide” right in the middle of the ride's extended closure.
A Moment That Meant Just as Much to Cast Members
The magic wasn't one-sided. One of the EPCOT cast members featured in the video later commented on the post, thanking the Instagram user for capturing and sharing the moment.
“IT'S ME !!!!!! literally thank you sm for taking this video !!! seriously this has made my week :,)” the Disney cast member wrote.
