Guests arriving at EPCOT on August 10 discovered that The Odyssey Pavilion had been closed. The building, positioned between the World Showcase and World Discovery neighborhoods, serves a different purpose than most structures at EPCOT — it primarily operates as a home for food and beverage booths during the park‘s four major seasonal festivals, rather than functioning as a year-round dining destination.

The closure is almost certainly preparation for the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which opens on August 27. The Odyssey Pavilion hosts the Brew-Wing Lab during the Food & Wine Festival each year, and shutting down the space ahead of the event gives Walt Disney World Resort the time needed to transform the interior into the festival configuration. No menu details or pricing for this year's Brew-Wing Lab have been released yet.

Walt Disney World Resort has not issued any statement about the closure.

What's Still Available Inside

The Odyssey Pavilion closure affects only the restaurant and lounge space within the building. The restrooms, Baby Care Center, and First Aid Center located inside the structure remain fully accessible to EPCOT guests throughout the closure period — an important distinction for families with young children or guests who need those services during their visit.

What's Coming on August 27

The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 27 through November 21, 2026. Walt Disney World Resort has not yet released details about the Global Marketplaces, food-and-beverage booth locations, or other programming planned for this year's event. More information is expected to be shared as the opening date approaches.
