Finally, Some Good News at Disney Springs: Levi’s Is Staying and Getting a Makeover

Okay, can we all agree that Disney Springs has had a rough year? It feels like every time we turn around, another favorite spot is closing. It’s been a lot.

But today, we’ve got some good news for once. Levi’s isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s getting a glow-up. A new permit was just filed for a remodel at the Levi’s store in Town Center. So no tears this time, just new jeans.

Let’s Talk About This Year, Though

If you’ve been to Disney Springs lately, you’ve probably noticed some empty spots. This year, we’ve said goodbye to Sprinkles, Francesca’s, Shore, Johnston & Murphy, the Exposition Park food trucks, Wolfgang Puck, and a few spots in the Co-op Marketplace.

Losing Sprinkles alone was painful. No more cupcake ATM runs. And Wolfgang Puck? That was a classic. So yeah, it’s been a tough year to be a Disney Springs fan.

Okay, Now the Levi’s News

Here’s what we know. Levi Strauss filed a permit for its Disney Springs Town Center store, and it’s listed as a “Tenant Remodel.” Basically, they’re fixing up the store, not closing it.

They’ve hired a Boston-based company called Salt Construction Management to do the work. And like most permits, this one expires in a year.

So What’s It Going to Look Like?

That’s the mystery. The permit doesn’t specify the actual design, so we don't yet know what the new store will look like.

It could be a whole new layout, fresh displays, or just a modern refresh. Either way, it’s nice to see a brand actually investing in Disney Springs instead of packing up and leaving.

Is It Closing During the Remodel?

We don’t know yet. Disney hasn’t said anything about the store closing while the work happens.

Right now, the Levi’s page on the Disney Springs website shows hours through Friday, January 15, 2027. There’s nothing listed after that. But before anyone panics, a lot of other Disney Springs stores that aren’t closing also don’t have hours past that date. So it’s probably just that the calendar hasn’t been updated yet.

Still, if you’re planning a shopping trip, check the website before you go. Just in case.

It’s Not All Closures, Though

To be fair, Disney Springs has gotten a few fun new additions recently too. Kawaii Slime Company just opened in the Marketplace where the face painting kiosk used to be, and it has a DIY ice cream slime station that kids are going to love.

And over at Trend-D, there’s a new Charmed in the Park station where you can build your own bag charms and bracelets. So it’s not all doom and gloom.

Why We’re Happy About This

Honestly, after watching so many places close, it’s kind of a relief to see a store say, “Nope, we’re staying, and we’re making it better.” Levi’s is a brand pretty much everyone knows, and it’s an easy stop to grab a new pair of jeans or a jacket for those surprisingly chilly Florida nights.

Plus, Town Center is where a lot of the big-name stores are, so keeping Levi’s there helps the area feel full and fun to walk around.

Quick Tips

If you’re a Levi’s fan, here’s our advice. Double-check the store hours before you go. If you need something soon, shop sooner rather than later, just in case it closes for the remodel. And keep an eye out for more updates, because we’re sure more details will come out soon.

Here’s to an Upgrade

We’ll take any good news we can get from Disney Springs right now. Levi’s getting a remodel instead of a goodbye feels like a little win.

So, are you excited to see what the new Levi’s looks like?
