With thousands of guests heading to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney has created a list of items that are prohibited inside Disney parks.

For this full list, guests can go to Disney World’s official website. One of the most prevalent laws inside of Disney is that smoking is prohibited at all Disney World parks, including the theme parks, water parks, and the bustling location of Disney Springs.

At the heart of Disney’s no-smoking policy is a desire to ensure the well-being of its guests and Disney Cast Members. By eliminating smoking within its confines, Disney World fosters an environment where families can roam freely without concern for exposure to secondhand smoke. This approach aligns seamlessly with Disney’s ethos of creating immersive experiences that cater to guests of all ages.

Sadly, in a Reddit Thread, one Walt Disney World park guest can be caught smoking on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. This guest looked like they were trying not to draw too much attention to them, knowing smoking is banned at Disney World.

However, a Cast Member immediately approached the guest and asked her to stop smoking and put it out. The guest did as the Cast Member had asked. While this guest did not cause a scene, and the Cast Member allowed them to leave, this could have been a different experience.

If the guest continues to defy the no-smoking policy, more severe consequences may result. If a guest persists in smoking within the park despite prior warnings, they may be asked to leave the premises. Disney security or management would escort the guest to the park exit, emphasizing the necessity of compliance with the park’s policies. While the decision to eject a guest from the park is never taken lightly, it underscores Disney’s unwavering commitment to upholding its standards and ensuring the comfort and safety of all guests.
