The New Items Worth Getting Excited About
The headline treat for 2025 is the Butterbeer Waffle, the new signature item of the season. It is available at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando, and it is the kind of limited-time food that tends to develop a following quickly.
Universal Orlando is also rolling out a strong supporting cast of seasonal exclusives. A Butterbeer Cupcake, Cookie Sandwich, Candy Apple, and Shortbread Bar will all be available at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum's Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley. The most unexpected addition might be the Biéraubeurre Crème Brûlée at Café L'air de la Siréne inside the Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe — a French-accented interpretation that fits the Parisian setting of the new land.
Butterbeer-flavored truffles and macarons are also debuting this season at K. Rammelle in the Ministry of Magic. Unlike the other seasonal items, these will stay on the menu year-round after Butterbeer Season wraps, making them a permanent addition to Epic Universe's Wizarding World offerings.
