Theming to the Max

I love a resort that completely transports you upon check-in and that is exactly what happens at Caribbean Beach resort. The minute you enter the Customs House for check-in you are immersed in Caribbean ambiance with an open design thanks to the natural light flowing through the shutters and the bright island décor.

This sprawling resort has sectors named after different islands like Barbados, Jamaica, Aruba and Trinidad. Resort sections are walkable but are also connected by bus, so guests look for a quick and cool ride to the pool or Centertown can easily move across the resort. Plenty of palms scattered among the waterfront that runs in the middle of the resort, gives an island feel. Guests can enjoy relaxing on benches and beachside hammocks while taking in views of the waterfront and the pool.

Theming is carried into the resort rooms with neutral colors and thatch trimmed furniture that exudes an island vibe without feeling over the top. Like all Disney Resorts, guests have a choice of two double beds or a king bed and each room has a sitting area and double vanity outside the bathroom. Caribbean Beach is a great Moderate Resort option for families because they offer five person rooms with a foldaway bed.

Pirate Rooms

If you are a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies you need to experience a Pirate Room at Caribbean Beach Resort. That’s right, you can book a pirate themed room for your Disney vacation that may have you just as excited to spend time in your resort room as the parks! Pirate theming is over the top with a ship sail curtain separating the bathroom, barrel television stand and furniture, a map rug and awesome pirate ship beds among other film touches. A family vacation movie night in with Captain Jack Sparrow may be in order for guests splurging on one of these awesome rooms!
