The holiday season just got a little more magical for Home Alone (1990) fans. For the first time in over 30 years, several cast members from the beloved Christmas classic reunited, delivering a boost of Christmas cheer and nostalgia.
A staple of the season for millions worldwide, the Home Alone franchise holds a special place in the hearts of fans. With six films spanning from 1990 to 2021, the series has entertained generations, featuring iconic performances from stars like Joe Pesci, Catherine O’Hara, and Tim Curry—not to mention a cameo from Donald Trump.
Where Did the Home Alone Reunion Happen?
The McCallister family gathered for a fan meet-and-greet at Pandora’s Box Toys & Collectibles in Lafayette, New Jersey. Fans in attendance were treated to an unforgettable moment of nostalgia as the actors came together to celebrate the legacy of Home Alone.
Pandora’s Box Toys & Collectibles shared photos from the reunion on Instagram, writing:

The cast members in attendance included Kristin Minter (Heather McCallister), Michael C Maronna (Jeff McCallister), Devin Ratray (Buzz McCallister), Angela Goethals (Linnie McCallister), and Jedidiah Cohen (Rod McCallister)–all of whom played siblings or cousins to the main character, Kevin McCallister.
But Where Was Kevin?
Unfortunately, one notable absence from the reunion was Macaulay Culkin, the actor who famously portrayed Kevin in the first two Home Alone films. Culkin married actress Brenda Song in 2017, and they have two children.
Home Alone on Disney+
The reunion also comes just a year after Home Alone fans experienced a moment of holiday panic. In November 2023, Home Alone and its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), were briefly removed from Disney+ during a larger content purge by The Walt Disney Company.
At the time, the removal sparked widespread concern among viewers who feared the films might be gone for good. Fortunately, Disney+ reassured fans that the disappearance was temporary, caused by a licensing dispute, and the 20th Century Fox movies returned to the platform just a few weeks later.
