How to Do Walt Disney World Without Financial Regrets

2. Set a Budget

While you’re saving, start working on a budget for your trip. Research options for transportation, lodging, meals, and tickets, and then figure out exactly how much you’re going to need. Break the budget down into categories and write it all out on paper.

Before you head out on your trip, pay for your tickets and your hotel room. Take gift cards along and have set amounts designated to food and souvenirs. This will prevent overspending, as everything will be well budgeted and you won’t be spending physical money or swiping credit cards.
