While we typically only cover all things Disney, Walt Disney World’s neighbor, Universal Orlando Resort, is making a major change in their mask policy effective May 29. Both Walt Disney World and Universal recently announced they are no longer requiring masks to be worn while outdoors. Now, Universal will no longer require masks for vaccinated guests.
In checking the Universal website, the policy has been updated to read as follows: “Face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests. We do not require proof of vaccinations. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are still expected to wear face coverings while indoors. We encourage all guests to keep a safe distance between travel parties. We remain focused on maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitization standards.”
