This weekend, Mickey Mouse headed to a new destination—Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The beloved Disney icon made the temporary move to the Northeast to celebrate the Little League World Series.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are household names, best known for their work on film and entertaining fans at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. However, the dynamic duo doesn’t limit their magic to just the Disney parks. They occasionally venture beyond Florida and California for select events. For instance, every year, Mickey and Minnie participate in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade, helping to kick off the holiday season. Earlier this year, they joined a Disneyland70-themed hot air balloon, bringing the magic of Disneyland Resort’s anniversary to various cities in Texas.

From August 13 to 24, 2025, Mickey Mouse brought his trademark magic to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The event saw Mickey’s appearance thanks to a collaboration between ESPN (owned by The Walt Disney Company) and the Little League World Series. ESPN created exclusive interactive experiences for attendees, including giveaways, photo opportunities, and surprise meet-and-greets with Mickey Mouse himself, dressed in a baseball uniform. Fans could even snag exclusive ESPN x Little League Baseball Mickey Mouse pins and temporary tattoos.
On Sunday, August 24, Mickey took the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Little League World Series game. The unforgettable moment was shared by X (formerly Twitter) user @DrewDisneyDude, who posted this video of the iconic throw:
Now pitching at the Little League World Series: Mickey Mouse! ⚾️
The Little League World Series has been broadcast by Disney-owned ABC since 1963. This year, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) emerged as the victor, defeating Nevada in the final game to claim the country’s first title since 1996. While it’s unclear whether Disney will continue the tradition of a parade for the winning team at Walt Disney World Resort, last year’s champions did participate in a Magic Kingdom celebration.
