Beloved Disney World Dining Location Finally Reopening After Nearly Four Years!

The world, specifically Walt Disney World, is still returning to normal following closures from the shutdown caused by COVID-19 a few years ago. As rides, shows, and now popular dining offerings return to “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” fans are excited to learn that one extremely popular experience is returning in just two short months. Namely, the Grand Floridian’s 1900 Park Fare!

Food and the dining experience surrounding delicious foods at Walt Disney World are massive draws for guests as they typically set Disney World Resort apart from similar businesses.

Although often extremely expensive, guests can’t get enough of delectable table service meals surrounded by their favorite Disney characters, and now another character dining experience in back on the table!

We recently reported that 1900 Park Fare, an extremely exciting character dining option, was set to reopen at Walt Disney World, just outside of Magic Kingdom. Well, today, Disney has announced an official reopening date for the popular offering, and as the Disney Dining Plan has returned, your Walt Disney World vacation just got a bit more magical!

1900 Park Fare

1900 Park Fare is a popular character dining experience located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Walt Disney World. It has been closed for years and will now reopen on April 10, according to Scott Gustin and Disney.

Reopening after a period of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant will once again offer a unique dining experience where guests can meet and interact with favorite Disney characters while enjoying a delicious meal.

A New Look

The reopening of 1900 Park Fare is an exciting development for Disney World fans and visitors. It allows guests to once again experience the magic of dining with beloved Disney characters such as Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the Fairy Godmother.

Other popular character pop-ups include the Mad Hatter and Cinderella’s step-sisters. The restaurant is known for its elegant and charming atmosphere, reminiscent of a Victorian-era ballroom.

Here’s the kicker: also according to Scott, who recently posted on X, the new openinig will include a brand-new dining experience complete with new characters such as Aladdin in his Prince Ali look, Cinderella, Mirabel and Tiana in her new look for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! How exciting!

Per past operations, guests can choose from a variety of breakfast and dinner options at 1900 Park Fare. The breakfast buffet features a selection of classic breakfast dishes such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and Mickey-shaped waffles. The dinner menu offers a range of delicious options including roasted chicken, prime rib, and seafood.

In addition to the mouthwatering food, this dining location is also known for its exceptional service and attention to detail. The restaurant staff goes above and beyond to create a memorable dining experience for guests, ensuring that every visit is truly magical.

Reopening 1900 Park Fare Post-COVID

As of today, reservations are still closed per Walt Disney World’s website. However, we’d guess that they will be opening sooner rather than later. It’s also worth noting that 1900 Park Fare once operated in partnership with the Disney Dining Plan as a character table-service option. Although the website currently states that the dining plan is not accepted, we’ll let you know as soon as it’s updated.
