This April, Walt Disney World Resort is giving guests of all ages the chance to become a Disney Princess at Disney Springs. The best part? It's completely free of charge…No Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment or costume policy exception required.
Step Inside the Box at Disney Springs

A new photo opportunity has quietly appeared outside the Once Upon A Toy merchandise location at Disney Springs, featuring two oversized Disney Princess doll boxes where guests can pose as Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog (2009) and Rapunzel from Tangled (2010). The installations went in earlier this month as part of Walt Disney World Resort‘s Earth Month programming, and since parking at Disney Springs costs nothing, the whole experience won't cost visitors a single dollar.
The Environmental Connection

Since 2021, both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have committed to selling their dolls in plastic-free packaging as part of a broader sustainability push. The replacement packaging is sustainably sourced, fully recyclable, and has reduced plastic waste across millions of Disney Park purchases. The oversized boxes outside Once Upon A Toy are a celebration of that ongoing effort.
How Long They'll Be There

The photo-ops are expected to remain in place through at least April 30, when Earth Month wraps up. Walt Disney World Resort hasn't confirmed an exact removal date, so guests with upcoming Disney Springs visits should take advantage while the installations are still standing.
