New Moana-Themed Rooms Now Available at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Today, July 19, is a big day at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! After months long closure due to COVID, the resort is officially reopening to ALL resort guests. While previously, Disney Vacation Club resort guests were able to enjoy the resort, it’s fantastic now having the resort fully open! Disney has shared the exciting news that Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is reopening, plus a tasty limited-time Dole Whip has launched at the resort. And now, Disney has also shared that the new Moana-themed rooms are ready for guests!

As shared by Disney: “Today’s reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort also includes new, beautifully reimagined guest rooms inspired by the Pacific Ocean and its many islands. Reimagined rooms include details, patterns and textures from the hit Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Moana.” We recently shared a look inside.”

“Make way, make way!” We’re on our way to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! Are you making plans to visit this stunning resort any time soon? Enjoy a meal at ‘Ohana’s, a drink at Trader Sam’s, and a tasty Dole Whip at Pineapple Lanai while you’re at it! Then head back to your resort room where you can sit back and relax in the new Moana-themed room. Enjoy!
