Guests heading into Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios on Thursday morning found the familiar path looking a little different.
A Surprise on the Streetlamps

Without any advance notice from Walt Disney World Resort, promotional banners for Toy Story 5 (2026) appeared overnight along the streetlamps lining the walkway from Pixar Plaza to Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. X user @Attractions caught the installation on May 14 and shared a first look on the platform formerly known as Twitter:

The banners depict Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie squaring off against Lilypad, the film's tablet villain. Walt Disney World Resort offered no public comment on the addition, staying characteristically quiet on the overnight change. The banners are likely to remain in place throughout the film's theatrical run and possibly until Toy Story 5 lands on Disney+.
The Film Behind the Toy Story Land Banners

Toy Story 5 opens in theaters on June 19, 2026, bringing back the franchise's core cast for a story rooted in a fear every parent of a screen-addicted kid will recognize immediately. When Bonnie receives a new tablet named Lilypad — voiced by Greta Lee — she loses interest in her toys almost overnight.
Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), Forky (Tony Hale), Rex (Wallace Shawn), the Potato Heads (Jeff Bergman and Anna Vocino), and the rest of the room are suddenly sidelined by a glowing screen.

Woody (Tom Hanks) and Bo Peep (Annie Potts) are navigating their own version of the same crisis out in the wider world, finding more discarded and forgotten toys than ever before.
Together with Buzz and Jessie, they confront the question the Toy Story franchise has long danced around: in a world increasingly defined by technology, is there still a place for toys at all? Conan O'Brien also joins the cast as a new character named Smarty Pants.
