Numerous Disney Stars Adorn ‘Worst a-List Hollywood Actors’ List

This is not looking great for Walt Disney Studios.

Since its inception, the majority of the United States has shared a fixation on Hollywood stars and their personal lives. Whether they are singers, actors, dancers, or all three, fans love to obsess over the stars of the screen. That fixation has continued to the present day when the private lives of these performers are practically public knowledge to the world. Stars like Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Robin Williams have become household names for their beloved on and off-screen personalities. However, not all actors receive this perception.

Further playing into the obsession over Hollywood stars, the popular survey website Rank has allegedly polled over 900,000 voters to determine the “Worst A-List Actors” in Hollywood today. The results show numerous Disney stars fall into the “worst actor” category.

Disney Channel Sweetheart Makes the List

Coming in at number 7 on the list of worst A-list Hollywood actors is none other than Miley Cyrus. Known for her early success as a Disney Channel star, Cyrus quickly transitioned into the music industry, gaining even more widespread fame. However, when it comes to her acting abilities, it seems that fans think Cyrus has a long way to go.

Whether it’s because of her acting talents or her wild and outlandish personality, it is clear that not all fans resonate with the former Hannah Montana star.

The Actor/Singer/Host Fails to Dazzle

Sneaking into the #3 spot is none other than James Corden, the singer, actor, and television host,

Known for his charismatic personality and comedic timing, James Corden has landed roles in several Disney productions. While some may argue that his performances bring a certain charm and delightful humor to the characters he portrays, critics and audiences alike have expressed mixed opinions regarding his Disney roles.

One of the most notable Disney films in which Corden appeared is Into the Woods (2014), directed by Rob Marshall. In this musical adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway hit, Corden took on the role of the Baker. While his portrayal was met with some praise for his singing abilities, there were also detractors who felt that his performance lacked depth and failed to truly capture the emotional nuances of the character.

Outside of his performing career, many rumors suggest that Corden is not quite the happy and bubbly guy we know him to be on-screen. These reports could very well have ended up landing him on this list.

Johnny Depp’s Ex Nearly Secures the Top Spot

While she is not a Disney actress per say, but she did used to be married to one. Amber Heard, known primarily for her portrayal as Mera in DC’s Aquaman franchise, has been named the 2nd worst a-list actor. Despite having a few solid films under her belt, Heard’s divisive off-camera personality has likely attributed to her less than steller on-screen perception.

Last year, Heard became a household name because of her highly publicized trial against ex-husband and Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp. While some would argue that any press is good press in Hollywood, it doesn’t look like this trial helped her public perception at all.
