Our Top 9 Favorite Places to Eat At Disney World Resort Hotels

Park Fare

One of my favorite things to do on a Disney vacation is soaking up the beauty and fun of resorts on the property and enjoying sumptuous dining. Seasoned Walt Disney World lovers will tell you that it’s hard to go wrong with Disney dining because there are so many delicious options to choose from.  In this article, we are counting down nine of our favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

1. Chef Mickey’s - Contemporary Resort

A classic dining option, Chef Mickey’s is a character buffet located right on the monorail line in Disney’s Contemporary Resort.  This American buffet offer delectables like roast beef, ham, turkey, a full buffet of veggie and pasta sides, a delicious salad bar and copious desserts on a nearby buffet. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy greet guests for photos and autographs. Servers and characters celebrate all the happy occasions in life with guests with dancing and napkin twirling to songs periodically throughout the evening.

2.  Sanna - Animal Kingdom Lodge

Located in Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Kidani Village, this restaurant showcases the flavors of Asia and India.  Duck, fish, beef and lamb are cooked in a variety of spices and served with grains and vegetables from around the world. Guests cannot go wrong when choosing a dessert from this menu.  Try a Kenyan coffee chocolate mousse or the Spice Trade Candy Bar to close out your culinary experience.

3. 1900 Park Fare – Grand Floridian

This Disney buffet is a favorite in my family because of the wonderful food quality and selection on the buffet.  The sweet and smooth strawberry soup is a signature item worth visiting the restaurant to sample. The buffet is filled with delicious salads, soups, carving station meats and yummy sides.  This character buffet features the Disney it girl herself- Cinderella. Meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Anastasia, Drizella and Lady Tremaine and watch as Cinderella and he prince waltz around the dining room.
