Owners of the Swan and Dolphin Resort Purchase the Grand Orlando Resort Near Walt Disney World

The Tishman Hotel Corporation, which owns the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, just purchased the Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration, located just 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World. The new property will offer Guests, especially those who have enjoyed their stays at other Tishman properties, modern and comfortable accommodations just outside of Disney property.

The Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration will now be managed by StepStone hospitality under Tishman’s ownership following its current $35 million renovations. The renovation project includes nearly all areas of the property with work being done to Guest rooms and suites, current pool areas, restaurant, and the resort’s conference center.

Completion of the project is expected by early 2023, so if you are looking for a new resort in Central Florida to try for a stay later next year, be sure to keep the Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration in mind. The resort is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, so while it is off property you will find a number of perks just for Guests visiting Disney Parks from the resort. For a peek at what’s to come with the rest of the renovations, Guests can already check out the lobby and two of the resort‘s six towers that have already finished renovations.

When the entire project is completed next year, the resort will be named a Delta by Marriott experience, which offers a variety of amenities and practical spaces around the property as well as a modern design in Guest room and smart service.

The area where the Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration is located boasts a 20-acre property that is sure to attract both business and leisure travelers, making the resort a great location for Guests visiting nearby theme parks or attending a wedding or special event, as well as fpr business travelers looking for meeting and conference space with modern conveniences onsite. For conferences, Guests will find spaces for small and large meetings as well as outdoor spaces for large-scale events.

And all Guests staying at the Grand Orlando Cypress Resort will be able to take advantage of this Orlando hotel‘s three swimming pools, with one outdoor pool featuring a waterfall and slide, tennis courts, four restaurants, on-site laundry facilities, and best of all for those interested in visiting Orlando’s theme parks- complimentary scheduled transportation to both Walt Disney World (with access to each Disney theme park and Disney Springs) and Universal Orlando Resort.
