Disney’s Animal Kingdom is scheduled for phased reopening beginning July 11, right along with Magic Kingdom. While the Cinderella Castle undergoes its transformation before the grand reopening, Animal Kingdom construction is also still in the works. Thanks to @bioreconstruct on Twitter, we can see the new bag check area construction status.
Check out these four aerial photos of the new bag check area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It looks like they’re making great progress! With the first photo below @bioreconstruct shares: “Aerial view of the new bag check at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Jun 12). Look close. The previous bag check has been removed, with concrete dust scattered at the former foundations.”
The second photo shows the new entrance plaza with the new tram stop on the left.

And nothing to do with the bag check area, but we wanted to share this one because we simply can’t wait to ride this beauty soon enough!
