Questions You Should Ask the Concierge At Your Disney Resort Hotel

Concierge Disney World Resort
No matter where you are on property, the cast members at Walt Disney World are incredibly knowledgeable about all things park-related! Some of the most helpful cast members can be found at your resort hotel, especially the concierge! Whether you’re looking for information about fun extras around the property, want dining recommendations, or you’d like to know show and parade times, they can point you in the right direction. Here are a few questions you should be sure to ask your concierge the next time you’re staying on at a Disney Resort Hotel.

1. How Do I Get Around Walt Disney World?

This is especially helpful for first-timers, those who haven’t been in many years, or even seasoned Disney-goers. Knowing the many transportation options for your particular resort can save you a lot of hassle later on. The concierge will let you know about the bus, water taxi, Minnie Van, Monorail, and/or other transportation services guests can access at the resort, and provide you with times and schedules for some of these services. If your resort has multiple options, ask the concierge about which ones they prefer during busy times of day.

2. What Should I Use a FassPass+ On?

If you’re new to the parks, you may already be overwhelmed with all there is to do and see, including which rides and attractions are must-do’s and which can be skipped. If you need help narrowing down your FastPass+ selections for a particular park, your resort concierge can provide their recommendations, including the best times to use the FastPass+, if the attraction’s line is typically long, and other facts you may need to know about that particular attraction. The concierge may take the ride’s popularity, as well as your family’s interests into consideration when making a recommendation.

3. Where Should I Make a Dining Reservation?

Because there are so many dining options at Walt Disney World, it’s easy to miss out on some hidden gems, or you may not know how or when to book a reservation. You can make reservations in advance while using the My Disney Experience app, but the information on the app may not be as detailed as you want, and sometimes the app isn’t as up-to-date with reservation times. When you can’t use the app, the concierge is the person to see. They can contact the restaurant to get information on reservations and even help you book one. Plus, they can recommend some of their favorite restaurants and meals on property, some of which you may not have ever heard of!
