One of the most popular Quick-Service stops in the EPCOT World Showcase has been behind construction walls since January, and there's still no end date in sight.
Refreshment Port Goes Dark
Refreshment Port, the walk-up dining spot tucked near the Canada Pavilion in the EPCOT World Showcase, has been closed since January 12, 2026. The location is a reliable favorite among Disney Park guests for its specialty poutines, fountain beverages, and soft-serve ice cream, including the beloved DOLE Whip.

Refreshment Port sat closed throughout the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and remained shuttered when the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival kicked off on March 4. The dining location typically rolls out seasonal soft-serve flavors and festival-themed poutine options to complement each annual event, making its absence especially noticeable for Walt Disney World Resort guests making the trip specifically for those experiences.
As of March 11, beige construction walls encircle the entire Refreshment Port building. According to WDWNT, the barriers stretch from around Swirled Showcase, across the restaurant's entrance, and reach nearly to the Flower & Garden Festival booth in the Canada World Showcase Pavilion.
What exactly is being worked on remains unclear. Nothing visible above the walls suggests exterior construction, pointing to the possibility that the project is focused on the kitchen or other interior spaces.
No Reopening Date on the Books

Walt Disney World Resort has not announced when Refreshment Port will reopen. The official refurbishment calendar currently extends through May 9, and no operating hours for the location are listed through that date. Disney urges guests to “please check back for updates.”
That timeline has implications for the Flower & Garden Festival, which runs through June 1. Walt Disney World Resort has not published a specialty festival menu for Refreshment Port, raising the real possibility that the dining location remains closed for the festival's entire run.
