Santa Claus is packing up his workshop and moving to a new home at Disneyland Park this holiday season, as Disneyland Resort unveils fresh details about its 2026 Christmas celebration.
Holiday Season Details Revealed
Disneyland Resort shared a wave of information Wednesday about what's coming to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park for The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, running November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. The announcements covered everything from vacation package discounts to new holiday costumes for Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Santa's New Meeting Spot
Among the August 26 announcements was a significant change to where guests can visit Santa Claus at Disneyland Park. Santa's meet-and-greet previously took place at the Fantasyland Theatre, a space now occupied by the Bluey's Best Day Ever show. That relocation forced Disneyland Resort to find Santa a new home.
This year, guests can find Santa Claus at Mickey's Toontown Trolley Barn, near Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, where he'll continue to hear holiday wishes and pose for photos. Disney encourages guests to check the Disneyland Resort app or the posted entertainment schedule for the latest meet-and-greet times and availability.
When Santa Steps Away
As in past years, Santa Claus won't be sticking around for the entire holiday season. His meet-and-greets traditionally wrap up after Christmas Eve, even though the broader holiday celebration continues through January 6 this year. Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have historically filled that gap with a festively dressed stand-in, such as Santa Goofy, for guests visiting in the days following Christmas.
