1 Week Trip Plan for Families at Walt Disney World

Castle Carrousel

Day 3: Magic Kingdom

On your second full day at Disney, hit the ground running with an early morning start at Magic Kingdom. Everything here is family friendly and you’ll need to keep a pretty steady pace to check off all the highlights. Unless you are dying to try Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s Royal Table, I’d actually skip table service on your Magic Kingdom day in the interest of saving time for attractions. Be sure to map out your route around the park in a circular fashion to save time. Magic Kingdom is a great place to meet most princesses, Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, and Jessie, but most other characters (including the classic Mickey and Pals) can be found in other parks so you may not want to allot Magic Kingdom time to them. And even though it’s a full day, don’t miss the Wishes fireworks!
