10 BIG Decisions You Must Make When Planning Your Walt Disney World Trip

Bus

5. If You’ll Need A Car

If you decide that staying on Disney property is best for your party, you won’t likely need a car unless you have off-property plans in place. Disney transportation (including buses, boats, and monorails) is free and easy. If you decide to stay off-property, you may or may not want a car. First, you should check the Disney shuttle schedule from your resort. If it is frequent and convenient, you may want to rely on a combination of your resort shuttle and Disney transportation. If you would rather have the flexibility of your own wheels, note that parking at any of the four parks will run you $20 per day. But if you hop to a different park on the same day, your parking pass is still valid.
