8. Drive instead of fly
To save money on travel, compare the cost of driving to flying. For many guests especially those with larger families, it’s cheaper to drive than fly, but flying is more convenient and definitely easier. However, in most cases you can save some big money driving. To make the trip: leave in the middle of the night when kids are sleeping, stock the car with movies, games, and snacks, and be sure to switch drivers and take breaks.
