1. You Receive One For Free If You Stay On Property

If you stay at any Disney resort, you will receive a Magic Band for free for the duration of your stay. If you book far enough in advance, you will be able to customize the magic band and choose your color. If not, you will get a generic gray magic band. This will be your room key and park ticket, and you will be able to set up your credit card on it as well if you wish to use your magic band to purchase food in the parks.
